	What We Do The production and facilities sanitizer used at Augisa & Co. is completely biodegradable. All cleaning products used within our facilities are 100% natural, bio-degradable and are approved for use within certified organic facilities. What You Can Do By Using green (chemical free) cleaners in your home and business you reduce indoor air pollution, reduce the potential for triggering health problems such as asthma and allergies, reduce the potential for poisonings.
	What We Do Our raw material suppliers are 100% cruelty free. No pink bunnies wearing mascara and lipstick over here! 	What We Do All invoices, flyers, brochures and other paper materials printed for our customers by Augisa & Co. is done on either 50% or 100% post consumer waste material. Virtually all waste generated by Augisa & Co. is either recycled or salvaged. All office paper, metal and plastic drums, scrap paper, cardboard, cans, bottles, plastic, steel, and wood is salvaged and recycled. The standards are set so high that recyclable materials found in trash cans is often a punishable offense! 	What We Do We conducted a complete lighting upgrade in our principal facilities to ENERGY STAR qualified bulbs because they use about 75 percent less energy than standard incandescent bulbs and last up to 10 times longer. We also upgraded to LED flat screen monitors instead of traditional CRT monitors which use about 65% more energy and generate nearly 5 times as much heat.All of the computers and monitors purchased by Augisa & Co. are EPEAT certified at the silver level which means that they have been approved and rated for their environmental attributes. This includes the elimination of heavy metals in the construction of circuitry, using recycled materials in the housing of the unit, their extended life cycle, lead free components, their energy efficiency, and much more. 	What We Do We use recycled post-consumer newsprint to cushion your order. The paper used for invoices and packing slips are always made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper and the brochures are 50% post consumer recycled paper. The peanuts and plastic cushioning which are occasionally used in our parcels are salvaged from other companies and individuals. We use USPS for shipments because the U.S. Postal Service is the only mailing or shipping company in the nation to achieve "Cradle to Cradle"SM Certification at the Silver level from MBDC (McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry) for human and environmental health.
